Ageless Aesthetics, one of the area’s only med-spas to incorporate functional medicine, is a dream come true for owner and skilled Nurse Practitioner Shelley Clayton. What she began in a one-room salon loft in 2016 has turned into a 13-room salon and medical spa, complete with all the treatments you can imagine to look and to feel your best. 

Offering a range of salon and spa services from massage and microblading to lash extensions and lip plumping, Ageless Aesthetics goes far beyond the average spa. They provide medical grade facials, chemical peels, Botox® and injectable fillers to their clients, along with PDO threads, laser treatments and IV infusions. Their newest service is liposuction and fat transfer. The state-of-the-art, relaxing environment and the one-on-one attention provided to each of their patients is just what the doctor ordered.
Clayton began working in a plastic surgeon’s office at age 18 and knew she wanted to pursue a career in the field, but she also knew how competitive it was—and she was determined to do things her way. More than a decade ago, she decided to go into nursing, taking on an emergency room position where she met Abbie Bledsoe. The two eventually went their separate ways—Shelley moving into aesthetics and Abbie focusing on primary care, but they remained close friends. 

Just a year ago, as Clayton’s business continued to grow, the two joined forces again, and the results have been amazing. As Family Nurse Practitioners, Clayton and Bledsoe have the flexibility and credentials to treat the entire body, enhancing the overall wellness, and therefore beauty, of each patient. “Abbie is pretty much a genius,” says Clayton, noting how her holistic approach and background in internal medicine makes her ideally suited for the bioidentical hormone therapy and individualized medical weight loss programs they offer. Both Bledsoe and Clayton hold multiple certifications are highly accomplished injectors contributing unmatched expertise and devotion to their aesthetics practice.    

Part of Clayton’s philosophy at Ageless Aesthetics is to focus on the patients’ natural beauty and enhance what they already have. “We want our clients to look refreshed, young and healthy, but not overdone,” she says. “We want to help you feel good about yourself.” This conservative approach is not only effective, but also obtainable. Her goal is to keep prices affordable so that the everyday person has access to their high quality services. 

Although Ageless Aesthetics doesn’t offer plastic surgery, Clayton and Bledsoe have a wealth of knowledge and plenty of successful, specialized tools in their basket.
